As more COVID vaccine doses are shipped across the country, our region is seeing an up-tick in clinics being scheduled.
Many health departments are offering walk-in clinics for anyone over 18 - moving beyond the eligibility guidelines set at the state level. You can find those clinics in Franklin, Jackson, and Williamson Counties this week - those clinics are nearly every day in Carbondale, and on a rotating basis in Marion and West Frankfort. Fayette County is offering vaccine clinics every Wednesday.
Meanwhile appointments are being set for clinics in Crawford, Jasper, Lawrence, Marion, Perry, Richland, and Wayne Counties. You can also contact Egyptian Health Department and Southern Seven Health Department if you live in their coverage areas.
Retail pharmacies, hospitals, and some private agencies are also offering COVID vaccine as more becomes available. You can find a comprehensive list at the state's coronavirus vaccine locator.
