The band Confederate Railroad is coming to southern Illinois after all.
After the State of Illinois cancelled its performance at the Du Quoin State Fair next month because of its use of the Confederate flag and the State prohibiting using state resources to promote symbols of racism, Black Diamond Harley-Davidson in Marion will host the band.
The decision to cancel the band's appearance drew harsh criticism on social media and led some to say they will boycott the fair.
Black Diamond announced Wednesday Confederate Railroad will perform at the Black Diamond Event Center in Marion on Thursday, September 5th.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at Black Diamond or the company's website.
