Cardbondale Deficit Could Hit Two Million Dollars, Because of The Stay At Home Order.

As consumer spending slows, because of  the Illinois stay at home order,  Carbondale Mayor Mike Henry, says he is concerned about the economic impact.  Henry says they have run projected budgets and says before the COVID-19 situation is all over, the City could see  a million and a half  to two  million  dollar shortfall.  The City recently extended , by 30 days, the deadline local businesses have in paying Food and Beverage taxes and other municipal taxes.
