Carbondale Warming Center Seeks Donations

Images

The Carbondale Warming Center is seeking donations.

The facility is staying open through the warmer months to help those in need of a place to stay during the state's stay at home order.

City of Carbondale spokesperson Roni LeForge says the center needs men's clothing.

"They've got a lot of winter wear, but they need more, as we transition into spring, they need more spring wear. T-shirts, shoes, belts, pants, so if you're cleaning out your closet during this stay at home order and you're waiting to take it some place that would need it, the warming center would be the place to take it."

Donations can be dropped off at the warming center at 608 East College Street or one of the Carbondale Fire stations.
