Carbondale Police Search for Suspects in Homicide

police

Carbondale Police say they're looking for two vehicles in connection to a shooting Monday evening that left one person dead.

The victim is now identified as 44-year old Jamonte Allison of Carbondale. He was shot in the 1000 Block of North Robert A Stalls Avenue Monday evening. Police say the shooting was a part of an ongoing dispute - officers were called to another report of shots fired earlier Monday afternoon, but no one was hurt in that incident.

Police are now looking for a black four-door Dodge Charger, and a dark colored SUV. Investigators say there's no new information on potential suspects, though they previously said they're looking for four Black men.
