Carbondale Police Investigate Weekend Shooting

Police Car and Lights

Carbondale Police are investigating another shooting.

Investigators say the victim showed up in the emergency room at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale Saturday night, needing treatment for a gunshot wound.
Police say the victim told them he and the driver of another vehicle were stopped in the 900 block of East College Street when the passenger in the other car got out and attacked him.

The victim says the suspect stole money, and as they were struggling, shot him.

Police say they're looking for a black man, about six- to six-foot-two inches tall, 25-30 years old and about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing jeans and a black hoodie, and the car he was in was a grey 1980's model Chevy four door - possibly a Caprice.
