Carbondale Man Jailed for Vehicle Break-Ins and Outstanding Warrants

A Carbondale man is in the Jackson County jail accused of breaking into vehicles.

Carbondale Police say at about 9:42 Monday night, officers responded to the 300 block of East Mill Street in reference to someone entering unoccupied vehicles.
When they arrived, officers located the suspect, who fled on foot, before being apprehended after a short foot chase.

He was identified as 30-year-old Myron Jackson. Jackson was already wanted on Jackson County arrest warrants for Burglary and Theft, as well as a parole violation warrant for Robbery.

Jackson was charged with Trespass to a Vehicle and incarcerated at the Jackson County Jail.
