A Carbondale man is accused of firing a gun that damaged two apartment units.
Carbondale Police say 23-year-old Trennis Hudson is charged with Reckless Discharge of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.  Officers say they received a report of shots being fired around 5 a.m. on April 18th in the 1100 block of East Grand Avenue.  Officers learned a firearm was discharged inside one apartment, and it shot a bullet through one of that apartment's doors and wall into another apartment, damaging numerous walls. Police say evidence of the shooting was recovered, and Hudson was identified as the shooter.  He is incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail.
