Authorities are investigating a suspicious fire at a vacant residence in Jackson County.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says the Carbondale Township Fire Department responded to a structure fire at around 3:30 Thursday morning on Charles Road.
Deputies say evidence at the scene made authorities suspicious.
Thursday night, 28-year-old Pablo Rafael Garcia of Carbondale was arrested for burglary and arson.
