Carbondale Driver Services Facility Set to Reopen

Secretary of State

The Carbondale Driver Services facility will reopen on Tuesday, October 13.

Due to the order of the Franklin-Williamson Bi-county Health Department, employees at the facility were directed to quarantine until Saturday, October 10 due to an employee who tested positive for COVID-19. The facility has been thoroughly disinfected and sanitized.
As a reminder, Secretary of State Jesse White has extended all expiration dates to February 1, 2021, for driver’s licenses and ID cards, so customers do not need to rush into Driver Services facilities. License plate stickers remain extended until November 1.

White encourages people to conduct business online for services such as renewing license plate stickers and obtaining replacement driver’s licenses/ID cards as well as safe driver renewals. For customers who decide to visit a facility, masks are required.
