Carbondale Announces Coronavirus Precautions

In response to coronavirus, the city of Carbondale has announced efforts to prevent the spread of the disease.

Carbondale City Hall will be closed to the public through the end of the month. Residents who need to pay bills may do so online, via mail or at a dropbox at City Hall. All events planned for the Civic Center or Town Square Pavillion will be canceled, except for voting. The Carbondale City Council meeting scheduled for March 24th is also canceled.

All city staff and public safety personnel will continue to work and public works department, including trash and recycling pickup, will continue as normal. 

City Hall will be open as a polling place for voting on March 17th.
