With Illinois preparing to loosen COVID-19 restrictions later this week, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Illinois is planning on easing into a limited, in-person opening starting Wednesday.
Tina Carpenter, the Chief Executive Officer of the Club says they have missed the kids.
She adds, "It's gonna be great to have the kids back in here to check in with them, to see their faces, and make sure they're doing okay. It is a win, win for all of us."
The Club will follow Illinois Department of Public Health Safety rules which include, no more that ten people in one room, the wearing of face masks and social distancing.
