On a rural road in Saline County, near the Pope County line, a Civil War Veteran is buried in a well-tended grave along the road. In this feature, Award-Winning Carrier Mills History teacher Mark Motsinger talks of the significance of the local man who is buried there, John Jasper Fitzgerald.
