A third republican has announced a run for the 15th Congressional District in Illinois.
Kerry Wolff of Altamont officially announced his candidacy on Monday.
He says he considers himself a common sense conservative who believes in protecting the 2nd amendment, securing our borders and clear paths to citizenship.
Wolff is a University of Illinois graduate who has worked in Ag Business, Financial Services and the Solar Power Industry.
Wolff joins physician Charles Ellington and Mary Miller - a farmer and businesswoman - as republicans in the race to succeed longtime GOP incumbent John Shimkus, who is not seeking re-election in 2020.
