A 4th Jackson County resident has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Jackson County Health Department says this individual is a male in his early twenties. He is reportedly doing well and is at home on isolation.
The young man is believed to have been exposed through travel to Chicago and east coast destinations. He is not allowed to leave home until he is well and can no longer transmit the disease.
Of the other three cases in Jackson County, two are SIU-Carbondale students, who are quarantined in a residence hall on campus.
