4th COVID-19 Death Reported in Jackson County

A 4th Jackson County resident has died from COVID-19.

The Jackson County Health Department reports a man in his 80's passed away from the virus.

The health department also reports two additional cases of COVID-19. They are a man in his 50's and a woman in her 20's. Both are isolated and doing well.

Both individuals acquired the disease through local contact with a known or suspected case. To date, there have been 36 total laboratory confirmed positives of COVID-19 in Jackson County. Ten positive cases have been released from isolation.
