WSIU, The Southern Illinoisan, and The Belleville News Democrat sponsored the 12th District Congressional debate at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center

The candidates running in southern Illinois’ 12^th congressional district met for the first time in a debate Wednesday night in Marion.

Incumbent Democrat Bill Enyart of Belleville and challengers Republican Mike Bost of Murphysboro, and Green Party candidate Paula Bradshaw of Carbondale debated issues at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center.
