Jackson County is reporting one new case of COVID-19.
Public Health Officials say a male in his 80s acquired the virus through a local contact with a known or suspected case.
Officials say the individual is in isolation and doing well.
To date, there have been 39 confirmed cases in the county and 14 people have been released from isolation.
