Secretary of State candidate David Moore toured the state on June 18th as part of his campaign.
Moore's platform includes his experience in the private sector.
"I think my skills as a financial accounting analyst, we need somebody who's a fiscal manager in the Secretary of State's office, who can run effective and efficient operations, not only keeping those fees low but keeping those lines down. And also someone that's ethical in that office, that can have character and integrity," Moore said.
He also wants to work to help mentor a younger generation of public servants.
"I have a habit and a history of getting our young people involved, and I want to make sure we do that so we can get them involved in civic engagement," he said.
