If you're looking for a good summer read that's part mystery, part treasure hunt, as well as a travelogue through history... you might want to check out Steve Berry's new novel The Omega Factor.

No, it's not a new Cotton Malone adventure. Instead we're introduced to a brand new character by the name of Nick Lee, a United Nations Investigator on a mission to protect the world's antiquities. The focus of this mystery is the Ghent Altarpiece - a real masterpiece by artist Jan van Eyck that is surrounded by its own real-life mystery after a panel of the work of art disappeared in 1934 never to be seen again. And that's where Begins his new adventure in modern day Belgium.

WSIU's Jeff Williams recently talked with Steve Berry about his new novel for this edition of In The Author's Voice.
