The Mayflower II at sail

In this edition of In The Author's Voice, we talk with a descent of the Mayflower on this Thanksgiving Day about the history of the very first Thanksgiving. Roughly 400 years ago English settlers made a peace settlement with the Native Americans that gave birth to the Thanksgiving Holiday we celebrate today.

WSIU's Jeff Williams recently talked with Paula Fisher, a Mayflower descendant about the arrival of the Mayflower in 1620 and the history of the first Thanksgiving.
