Boo Castle Park in Carbondale Vandalized

Vandalism recently at a privately owned park in Carbondale did a thousand dollars worth of damage.

On Wednesday, the Boo Castle Park's Facebook page posted information about the damage to the property off Giant City Road.

Videos and still photos posted to the Facebook page helped identify the vandals and their parents.

The park -- officially known as Jeremy Rochman Memorial Park -- opened in 2005 with a Dungeons and Dragons theme. It was created to honor the memory of Jeremy "Boo" Rochman, who was a passenger in a deadly car accident on Giant City Rd.
