Carbondale Police Investigate Shooting Thursday Night

Carbondale Police are investigating an aggravated battery which occurred at 10:30 Thursday night. 

Police were called to the 900 block of West Sycamore after a report of a person receiving a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for treatment. 

Police say it appears the dispute was between acquaintances., and are urging people with information to call the CPD at (618) 457-3200.
