Earlier clinics were held in Cairo, Tamms, Hardin and Vienna.

The Southern 7 Health Department is holding drive-through flu shot clinics to help get people vaccinated before flu season begins.

The flu can be deadly for the very old, the very young, and anyone with a compromised immune system or severe health conditions. Getting a flu shot reduces severe illness and death, and can also prevent someone from getting the flu at all.

Southern 7 will be holding clinics on November 3rd, from 11-1 at Golcanda Golden Circle, November 4th from 10-2 at the Union County Farmer's Market in Anna, and on November 10th from 10-2 at the Pulaski County Clinic in Ullin.
