Illinois is setting up vaccine clinics at SIU-Carbondale, ahead of next week's mandate for all higher education to be vaccinated or be tested for COVID-19 each week.
The vaccine teams will set up at the Student Center this Thursday from 8am to 6pm, Friday from 8am to 3pm, and next Tuesday through Friday from 8am to 6pm.

Both the one-dose Johnson and Johnson along with the two-dose Pfizer vaccines will be available. No appointment is necessary and there is no cost.
Governor JB Pritzker last week ordered all Pre-K through 12th grade teachers and staff, along with all higher education faculty, staff, and students to be vaccinated. Without proof of vaccination, a COVID test will be required weekly.
