Two Union County school districts are reporting positive COVID-19 test results.
Anna District 37 -- which includes Anna Junior High School and two elementary schools -- will switch to remote-only learning until at least October 19 after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19 and the potential for other staff exposures.
Jonesboro Elementary School is also reporting an individual has tested positive. The district says it's doing contact tracing and quarantining those who may have been in close contact with the COVID positive individual as well as deep cleaning and disinfecting areas potentially exposed to the virus.
