Two areas in southeast Missouri having trouble containing the spread of COVID-19 are hosting community testing events.
Perry County has reported over 560 cases since the pandemic began. There are 99 active cases. Any Missouri resident can receive a nasal swab test this Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Perryville City Park.

Cape Girardeau County is one of the hot spots for the spread of COVID-19 in the region. It's reported over 1,300 cases since the pandemic began, with nearly 300 active cases.

Missouri residents can get tested on September 25 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Arena Park in Cape Girardeau.
