Federal Grant to Help Combat Opioid Use Disorder in Hardin Co.

Hardin County has become a target county for a federal grant responding to opioid use disorder according to the Family Counseling Center.
The FCC's Compliance Director Keri Moore says because of injection drug use the county was identified as at-risk for HIV/Hep C outbreak by the federal government.

Moore says the county is impoverished and small with 4000 residents.
 
The FCC's grant develops a team approach to the multi-faceted problem with local agencies to provide Hardin County residents resources and support.
 
Moore says the FCC is excited to help Hardin County.
