A local  farmer says the recent low temperatures may not have hurt his crop much.  Wayne Sirles, co-owner of Rendleman Orchards in Alto Pass says it will be several days before any damage is visible.  However he adds  even though Wednesday morning's low hit 32, the insulating cloud cover helped.

"I'm sure it affected some areas a little bit.  From our best guess, we feel that we did okay."

<--break->Sirles adds he has noticed over the years, that some peach buds are just naturally able to resist cold better than others.
