A long-time leader at John A. Logan College and in the state has been honored for his service in the community college system statewide.
Jake Rendleman was honored for 25 years of service to Logan at the Illinois Community College Trustees Association annual meeting.
Rendleman began his term on Logan's board in 1997, and has served as Board Chair twice. He's also served as President of the ICCTA.
The Carterville resident also served on the City Council there for many years, as well as the Illinois Community College Board, and taught at Herrin Middle School for more than 25 years.
