Stone Soup Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream centers Bottom as our not-so-humble hero. Eager to take center stage in a community production he falls asleep and gets whisked away into dreams of love, fairies, and his own transformations. The cast of five transform just as Bottom does from Athenian craftsmen to love-struck teenagers to mischievous fairy folk. With music and opportunities for everyone to join in moments of fun, Bottom awakes from his dream just in time to enjoy madcap fun in the final "rude mechanicals" performance.

The Tour arrives in Nashville on Tuesday, Sep. 27 for a 6:00 PM performance at Nashville Memorial Park.

Keeping in the spirit of the story of Stone Soup, at all of our performances we encourage audience members to bring non-perishable food items which we will collect and take to local food banks. We also encourage audiences to bring their own picnics to share with their friends as we all share in the evening of entertainment. Keeping in the spirit of dreaming, this year we also encourage audiences to come in pajamas if they wish.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream was directed by Christina Casano with costumes by Carina Lastimosa. The touring ensemble includes: Sara BenBella, Sofia Carvajal, Tess Galbiati, Olivia Jackson, and Julia Stemper.
