The 39th annual Saint Andrew’s School Festival will take place on the Saint Andrew’s school grounds in Murphysboro, IL, on August 10th and 11th from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.. The festival kicks off with an all you can eat fish fry from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, and BBQ chicken and pork steaks on Saturday. Friday night will see performances by Riley Kirk from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Nine88 from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. On Saturday, enjoy performances by Billy Carr starting at 5:00 p.m. and Diamond Dog 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Other events scheduled for the weekend include a silent auction on Friday and Saturday in the KC Hall from 4:00 to 9:30 p.m., and a live auction on Saturday beginning at 6:30 p.m. There will be Bingo both evenings in the school cafeteria, and games and inflatables for kids. Also, blackjack is back! It will take place both nights on festival grounds from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Admission to the St. Andrew’s School Festival is free both days, with sponsorships from local businesses.
