Saluki Baseball will learn its post-season fate Monday morning, after falling to Missouri State in Sunday's Missouri Valley Conference Championship game.
SIU battled back from an opening round loss to the Bears on Wednesday, winning four games and forcing a double-header on Sunday afternoon. But the team fell short, losing to Missouri State 13-3.
Now, the team must wait for the NCAA selection show, scheduled for 11am.
The Salukis are one of just seven teams in the nation to reach 44 wins on the season, and won every weekend series they played this year.
