Arrowleaf is holding their 10k/5k fun run fundraiser to help them support more than 3,000 people in the bottom southern seven counties.
Arrowleaf has more than two dozen human service programs to help people build a solid foundation for improving their life.
They hold multiple fundraisers every year to finance those programs including their 10 and 5 k fun run.
CEO Sherrie Crabb says they had to cancel the run in 2020, but they were happy to bring it back last year.
“We did last year, and I think we had about 50 participants last year, but before that, I mean we draw in several hundred people, especially with it being on the tunnel state trail. You get a lot of kind of avid runners and speed walkers that want to come and we have a lot of people that come to that particular fundraiser every single year because they love it.”
The first race starts at 9am at the Vienna City Park on the Tunnel Hill State Trail on April second.
