UPDATE: Carterville-DuQuoin Varsity Football Game Moved to Friday

The date of the varsity football game between Carterville and Du Quoin has been changed.

Du Quoin High School athletics says to comply with IHSA rules, the game will be played Friday night at 7.
The school announced earlier this week the game would be played on Monday, April 26.

The Indians' program has been paused since April 14 after a COVID positive case within the team.

The game Friday will be played at Van Metre Field in Du Quoin.

Du Quoin High School announced Monday its finale at home against Carterville has been rescheduled for next Monday, April 26 at 6 p.m.

The Indians paused their program after positive COVID cases were discovered within the football program that forced them to cancel their game last Friday against Harrisburg.
