SIU football's spring season kicks off Saturday at the University of North Dakota.
Saluki Head Coach Nick Hill says the team is excited to get the Missouri Valley Conference schedule started against the MVC newcomer.
"They are a team that has been in the playoffs, two out of the last four years. A team that had made the playoffs over us last year right on the bubble. They are a team that went undefeated at home in 2019."
North Dakota's head coach, Bubba Schweigert, spent some time at SIU as an assistant coach.
Kickoff from the dome in Grand Forks, North Dakota is set for noon on Saturday.
