SIU Reviews: John Dies at the End

Imagine what would happen if a new “street drug” turned people into shape-shifting aliens in a parallel universe? That’s the premise behind the movie John Dies at the End. 

For this edition of SIU Reviews, film critic Liz Faber takes a closer look at the movie that’s based on the novel by David Wong.

John Dies at the End is currently in limited release.  Liz Faber is a doctoral student in the College of Mass Communication and Media Arts at SIU Carbondale.  She is a regular contributor to SIU Reviews.
