CARBONDALE, Ill. — Southern Illinois University Carbondale will celebrate Homecoming 2022 October 10-15 and entries are now being accepted for several special competitions. Enter no later than 4:30 p.m. Oct. 5 to participate in the contests.

The annual homecoming parade is set for 10 a.m. Oct. 15 down Southern Illinois Avenue and onto campus and now is the time to enter bands, floats and other parade units. The theme of this year’s homecoming and parade is “Saluki Walk of Fame” with a nod to old Hollywood glamour and an added celebration of past and present famous Salukis. The winning contestants will receive prizes.
