Police search for those involved in a shooting incident Friday afternoon in Carbondale

The search is on for those involved in firing gunshots on a Carbondale street Friday afternoon.

Carbondale Police say around 2:20 p.m. officers responded to an area of the 500 block of South James Street.

The suspect(s) fled from the area prior to the officers arriving. No injuries or damage to property were reported.

The picture depicts a vehicle believed to be involved. The vehicle traveled eastbound on West Cherry Street after the shots.
