An 18-year-old is accused of firing shots into a Marion residence

A Marion teenager is accused of firing shots into a residence.

Police say 18-year-old Xander Thorne has been cited for Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Unlawful Use of a Weapon without a F.O.I.D. card. Officers found a semi-automatic firearm in his residence.

The incident occurred Tuesday in the 1200 block of Lincoln Drive. Police found Thorne in a residence in the 1400 block of North Market Street.
