A suspect is wanted for firing shots from a vehicle in Carbondale Monday morning

One person was injured in a shooting overnight in Carbondale.

Police officers responded to the 600 block of South Logan Street at around 2:30 this morning after a reports of shots fired.

A short time later, officers learned a person with a non-life threatening gunshot wound arrived at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

The victim reported being in the 600 block of South Logan Street when someone fired shots from the passenger side of a gray colored 4 door vehicle.

The victim fled the area and went to the hospital for treatment. No other injuries or property damage were reported as a result of the incident.
