Several area law enforcement agencies were involved in the arrest of a man wanted for a home invasion and other crimes.
The Zeigler Police Department reports it was called to a home invasion in progress on Baggott Street this past Friday.
When police arrived, a man -- later identified as Derik Parrish -- fled out the back door of the residence to a nearby wooded area.
With the assistance of nearby Agencies, the area was cordoned off and Parrish was arrested and taken to the Franklin County Jail.
Parrish is charged with home invasion and residential burglary. He's also a suspect in several other residential burglaries as well as catalytic converter thefts.
