Damage to suspect truck

Marion Police have released photos of the pickup truck believed to belong to the suspect wanted in Tuesday's robbery at People's National Bank on 17th Street in Marion.

The male suspect was wearing a dark colored hoodie, black pants, gloves, and a white full-face mask. After being given an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled from the bank on foot.

The suspect then entered a tan 2004-2012 Chevrolet Colorado single cab pickup truck, which he had previously parked in a nearby parking lot. He drove eastbound on 17th Street towards Interstate 57.

The vehicle is damaged in several areas, which can be seen in the photos on our web page.

Anyone with information on the suspect and/or suspect vehicle is being asked to contact Detective Maria Dwyer of the Marion Police Department at 618-993-2124, extension 1206.
