Medical workers prepare to use a swab to administer a coronavirus test at a drive-through center on March 21 in Jericho, N.Y.

One southern Illinois health department has no COVID testing appointments available through the end of the month due to increased testing demand and testing supply shortages.

The Wayne County Health Department says its COVID testing appointments are completely booked for the next two weeks.

Officials say they have ordered more test kits, but have not received a shipment yet.

They will begin booking appointments again once the shipment arrives.
