Frankfort Community High School briefly went on a soft lockdown Monday afternoon after the school office received reports of possible gunshots in the neighborhood west of the Vocational Building.
Administrators say the initial call came in around 12:50 p.m. After an investigation by the West Frankfort Police Department, officers gave the all clear notice at around 1:15 p.m.
That's when school administrators lifted the soft lockdown and the school day proceeded normally.
