An Arrest has been made in a November shooting incident in Carbondale

A Carbondale man -- accused of being one of the suspects involved in a shooting incident two weeks ago -- has been arrested.

Carbondale Police say 29-year-old Matthew Hamilton was arrested on Monday for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon and Aggravated Discharge of a Weapon.

Hamilton is being held in the Jackson County Jail.

Just after midnight on November 16, Carbondale police officers responded to the area of the 400 block of East Chestnut Street in reference to a report of shots fired and identified Hamilton as a suspect.
