Authorities Still Need Witness Information About Keeshanna Jackson Murder

The FBI and Carbondale Police say they still have had no one come forward with information regarding the shooting death of SIU student Keeshanna Jackson.

CPD officers found Jackson with gunshot wounds in the yard outside a house party she was attending on August 22 at 501 W. Cherry Street in Carbondale.

She was transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead. Three others were wounded.

Carbondale Police believe there may be multiple shooters involved and numerous witnesses with information.

The FBI is offering ten thousand dollars and Carbondale Police five thousand for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder.
