FBI and Carbondale Police Offer Cash Reward for Information Leading to Conviction in Murder of SIU-C Student

In an effort to get some leads into the shooting death of a SIU-Carbondale student in August, the FBI-Springfield Division and Carbondale Police are offering cash rewards to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the incident.

The FBI is offering a 10-thousand dollar reward and Carbondale Police five thousand.

18-year-old Keshanna Jackson died after being shot outside a party at 501 West Cherry Street.

Carbondale Police Monday believe there were multiple active shooters.

Three others were wounded in the August incident. 29-year-old Jyrin Blair of Marion, 23-year-old Raheem Sylas of Murphysboro and a juvenile from Marion were all treated for non-life threatening injuries.
