WSIU Radio 2012 Named Best Newscast by Associated Press

WSIU Public Radio is the recipient of the Associated Press Best Newscast of 2012 Award!

The award from the Illinois Associated Press Broadcasters Association was awarded to WSIU Radio during the Illinois News Broadcasters Association Convention on Saturday, April 20th.

The newscast was judged by a panel of radio broadcasters from outside of the state of Illinois.

For more than 50-years WSIU Radio has been dedicated to excellence in local news coverage for the southern Illinois community.
