Walt Frazier Elected to SCB Hall of Fame

Southern Illinois University basketball legend Walt Frazier has been elected to the 12 member Small College Basketball Hall of fame.
Frazier led the Salukis to national prominence, helping SIU win the NIT in 1967. The All-American guard was the MVP of the 1967 NIT and a member of the NCAA Elite Eight 50th Anniversary Team. He was a two-time All-American and the first Saluki to have his jersey retired.

In the pros, Frazier was a seven-time All Star, helping the Knicks win 2 NBA championships. He was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and was named one of the NBA's 50 greatest players in 1996.

The Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Induction ceremony will take place on November 2nd in Evansville, Indiana.
